I spent Saturday plotting, and now I can finally tell y’all SOME of what the SideChick has planned this week. 😏

🐾 WEDNESDAY — MAD DOG’S IN THE KITCHEN

We’re starting the day with a Wednesday favorite — beans & sausage, potato salad & cornbread.

Wednesday night, though, we’re switching things up a little!

Just Jake has a gig elsewhere, and this SideChick is going with him — so our daughter, better known as Mad Dog, is stepping in to hold down the kitchen until I get back around 8. 😈

And Chasers has the music covered too — JP Primeaux will be LIVE from 8–11! 🎶

🔥 THURSDAY — I TOLD Y’ALL I WAS SCHEMING

We’re going TWO MEATS.

Pulled pork + 2 smoked ribs with smothered cabbage, pasta salad & a fried pistolette.

That’s not a little lunch.
That’s a sit down and mind your business for a minute afterward kind of plate. 😂

Nope. Still not telling.

But I’ve already bought the meat, I’ve got a plan, and this one is absolutely worth cheating on your diet for.

I’ve been doing a little scheming. 👀

One day is for the meat lovers… and the other might require an extra napkin or two. 😈

I’m not giving either one away just yet.

Our daughter traded dog grooming for dinner duty tonight and came to help her mama out. 🐾➡️🍽️
Because apparently even the SideChick needs a SideChick every now and then. 😂

Not a single loaded potato survived lunch. Not. One.

So apparently taking a break is off the table. 🤦‍♀️ I’m headed right back to the kitchen to get a few more potatoes baking for tonight.

And I do mean a few — so if you missed out at lunch and want one tonight, don’t wait around and make bad decisions. 👀
