Hey everyone! We’ve had this page for a little bit now, but somehow we’ve never really taken the time to officially introduce ourselves or explain what AK&KB Farms is all about. Since we plan to start sharing a lot more on this page, we figured now was the perfect time! 🤍 For those who don’t know us, AK&KB Farms is located in Southwest Louisiana where we raise and show registered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, and the main face behind the page is me, Aubrie Richard. What started through 4-H and a love for showing livestock has grown into something we are extremely proud of. Over the years, we’ve continued to build our herd with a focus on healthy animals, strong genetics, correct structure, and goats that we hope will be successful in the show ring as well as an important part of our breeding program. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been being able to share our love for dairy goats with others, help introduce new showmen to the program, and watch the local goat community continue to grow. We plan to use this page to share much more of what goes on here at AK&KB Farms, including our herd, new additions, breeding plans, kids, show results, animals available, and plenty of everyday barn life along the way. We’re excited to start sharing more of everything we’ve been working toward and can’t wait to see what the future holds for AK&KB Farms. Thank you for following along and supporting us! ✨
