Recipe time!!

Jam Good Candied Bacon

Ingredients & tools:

•6 strips of center cut bacon
•Jam Good Original 7 Pepper Jelly
•foil paper
•15-17" baking sheet

Directions:

Preheat oven to 365F. Adjust oven rack to middle position. Line baking pan with foil paper to reduce cleanup.

Align 6-8 slices of bacon onto foil-lined baking pan. Spoon jelly over each strip of bacon. I recommend just a thin layer on each slice.

When oven is preheated insert baking pan onto middle rack, and cook for 12-20 minutes. Exact baking time will depend on your oven, and your desired crispness of the bacon. We prefer the bacon to be more on the crispy side for this recipe.

Do not open oven too many times, for this will release heat from your oven, and result in less crisp bacon and slower cooking time. When you begin to smell the bacon is a good indicator to check on desired crispness.

When done baking, allow bacon to cool on a cooling rack, or on paper towels. Serve alongside brunch, crumble into ice cream for a salty, sweet, and spicy topping, or eat it as-is just as a late-night snack!
