The Country Store

The cooler weather is finally here, and we’re celebrating fall’s arrival with all the good stuff. 🍂🎃

We’ve got funky ornamental pumpkins, miniature edible pumpkins, organic pie pumpkins, and apple c***r ready for those crisp fall days.

And with the changing season comes a little change in our schedule, too:

BEGINNING TOMORROW, OCTOBER 1, our store hours will be 9 AM–7 PM.

Hello, fall. We’ve been waiting for you. 🍁🍎🎃

Usually the rainbow comes after the storm.
Today, it arrived early. 🌈

Moody skies, sunshine still hanging on, and a rainbow showing up before the rain.

A double rainbow stretched across town lighting up the mountains and the store below.

Apparently even the weather does things a little differently in Lake City.

Rainy day in Lake City. ☔

This is the kind of day that says stay inside, get cozy, and eat ice cream. Because ice cream does not require sunshine. 😜

New in the freezer: Jeni’s Brambleberry Crisp & Gooey Butter Cake.

Come grab a pint. The rain already ruined your outdoor plans—you might as well make questionable nutritional decisions. 😂

And we’re back! ⚡

Electrical repairs are done, the lights are on, and the doors are open. Come see us!

08/13/2026

Well, this is inconvenient. 😬

We are temporarily closed for electrical repairs. We’ll get the doors back open just as soon as we can.

Thanks for your patience — we’ll keep you posted!

We're here, and we're open.

As our community continues to watch the Elk Fire, we want everyone to know that we will remain open and serving our customers unless official circumstances require otherwise.

We're proud to support our neighbors, the wildland firefighters, incident teams, and all of the support personnel working tirelessly to protect our community.

Whether you need groceries, a familiar face, or just one less thing to worry about, we're here.

We'll continue to share any important updates that directly affect our store. In the meantime, please follow official emergency information for evacuation notices and fire updates.

Thank you to everyone working to keep our community safe, and thank you to our customers for your patience, kindness, and support. Lake City has always taken care of one another, and that's exactly what we'll keep doing.

As Tom Bodett says, "We'll leave the light on for you." Well... we'll keep the lights on.
