Just want to address something after receiving a sub par review due to shipping speed....

When placing an order on our website, you are given an expected delivery by date once the order is complete. The reason for the 7-10 business day time frame is due to

1. Fasting the fish you ordered. We fast all of our fish for 3 days minimum to reduce ammonia from waste. The fish are NOT prepared for fasting until the order is placed.

2. Observation. We inspect every fish that leaves our facility to ensure there are no signs of sickness or elevated stress prior to shipping.

3. Weather. We ship UPS Tues and Wed each week. Gives us time to ensure the weather is going to cooperate the best it can. (Hard to do nowadays. 😆)

4. Order amount. Orders are shipped as they are received. Sometimes we can get them out after the 3 day fast and observation period, sometimes we are crazy backed up.

I know most of our customers already understand this but felt I needed to make a post for new customers. I know we all want what we want and we want it right now dang it! But there's a process we follow for good reason. You are spending good money on high quality fish and we want to ensure you are getting vibrant, happy, healthy fish each and every order!
