GUYS we are officially allowed by Florida State Fish and Wildlife commission to OWN CAPYBARAS!!! In less than 24hrs from our inspection, the state approved it. This is really going to happen!! Now on to the USDA permit!!

FWC came out for our Capybara enclosure inspection. Everything we did is way above minimum standards. All of the Husbands hard work has paid off(I helped... and by help, I said "Husband i want Capy's 😂). It now goes to Tallahassee, once they put their stamp of approval,we will have our Class lll wildlife permit. This is one step closer to a dream coming true!!
We still have to finish the pond, including a liner, pump, filter, tons of rocks around the edges, some shady areas, protection around the new trees so they don't eat them 😂!!
We can't thank you all enough for your dedication and support ❤️We have been working on names. We will have a boy and a girl!!! Lets see some ideas!!

We finished digging the Capybara pond, almost done with the exterior barrier fence, and the 2 gates. By the end of the weekend, we will be ready for our FWC enclosure inspection. After that we will set the pond up ,work on the grass, along with a few interior things and then........ well you know what comes next! If any businesses would like their name on our Capybara enclosure for all to see, please reach out to us for sponsorship!! Our farm runs strictly by donations.
