🍷 Sip, shop, and discover something new this weekend at Peninsula Provisions.

Join us for complimentary wine tastings as we pour two distinctive wines from opposite sides of the world.

This week’s white is a 2023 Chenin from France’s Loire Valley, offering notes of pear, yellow apple, apricot, river stone, and honeysuckle with bright, balanced acidity. A beautiful companion to seafood, oysters, and creamy cheeses.

We’re also pouring the 2018 Columbia Valley Estates Cuvée from Washington State. Built around Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from Red Mountain, this blend delivers depth, structure, and layers of dark fruit while remaining approachable and easy to enjoy.

One of our favorite parts of tasting weekends is sharing the stories behind the wines—from multi-generational family estates in France to celebrated vineyard sites in the Pacific Northwest.

Stop in, learn a little, sip a little, and maybe discover your next favorite bottle.

🍷 Mark your calendars for our next complimentary Happy Hour!

Join us Thursday, June 26 from 3-5 PM as we welcome Sean Sutton of VinoVi back to Peninsula Provisions.

Sean will be pouring a selection of Spanish whites and reds, including several wines that are new to the U.S. this year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to explore distinctive wines, learn a bit about the regions and producers behind them, and discover a few new favorites for summer.

As always, it’s a pleasure to have Sean in the shop, and these tastings are some of our favorite afternoons of the season.

This week’s tasting lineup brings together two wines that couldn’t be more different — and that’s exactly why we love them. 🍷

First, from Oregon’s Willamette Valley, we’re pouring Vincent Red Table Wine.

Winemaker Vincent Fritzsche is a founding member of the Deep Roots Coalition, a group of producers committed to dry farming — meaning no irrigation, ever. By allowing vines to dig deep into the volcanic and sedimentary soils of the Willamette Valley, these wines express a true sense of place. Thoughtfully made, balanced, and incredibly food-friendly, it’s a beautiful example of what Oregon wine can be.

We’re also featuring the 2025 Rosé from Brys Estate on Old Mission Peninsula.

Crafted by winemaker Coenraad Stassen from estate-grown Cabernet Franc and Merlot, this vibrant rosé bursts with notes of strawberry lemonade, fresh berries, and rose petals. Crisp, refreshing, and easy to enjoy, it’s the kind of bottle that belongs on patios, picnic tables, and summer gatherings.

We’re hiring a Cook to join the Peninsula Provisions kitchen team!

This role includes preparing charcuterie boards, appetizer platters, catering offerings, grab-and-go dips, salads, and other seasonal specialty foods that support the shop throughout the year.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys thoughtful food, quality ingredients, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Position is currently at least 2–3 days per week through the season, with additional opportunities available in the off-season as well.
