September’s second summer is coming, and as Dolly would say… better get to livin’.

Kate Vilter Stassen’s September pick: Brys Estate Signature Rosé — and no, it’s not just because her husband is the winemaker. 😉

Made right here on Old Mission Peninsula, this estate-grown rosé is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot + Pinot Noir — crisp, refreshing and made for squeezing every last drop out of Northern Michigan’s warm-weather days.
And while we’re talking Dolly… we love her. 🤍

Beyond the music, the sparkle and the one-liners, we admire how much good she’s put into the world. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, more than 300 million books have been gifted to children around the world.

Now that is something worth raising a glass to.

Keep the rosé chilled.
Eat outside.

It feels like fall is starting to sneak into the air 🍂🍷

And as the weather shifts, so do the wines we’re reaching for. We love that.

One of Kate’s favorites for this in-between season is Couly-Dutheil Rosé from Chinon in France’s Loire Valley.

Couly-Dutheil is a 100-year-old, family-owned winery known for Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc. Their rosé is made from Cabernet Franc, giving it a little more body and depth than your typical summer rosé.

It’s fresh enough for these last warm days, but substantial enough to pair beautifully with food as we head toward fall.

Basically? Proof that rosé doesn’t have to end with summer.

A fantastic year-round bottle — and one we’re always happy to have on the table.

Meet Mindo Chocolate—truly bean-to-bar chocolate made with ethically sourced cacao and a pretty special Michigan connection. Mindo crafts its chocolate between Mindo, Ecuador and Ann Arbor, Michigan, bringing the process all the way from cacao bean to finished bar.
