Bottling is a full family endeavor and we are almost through the last rush of bottling before harvest starts! Last week we got Beak & Talon and Böhn Dry into bottles and as soon as we finish our Red Lion it will be time to clean, organize the supplies and start adding fresh grapes to the mix. It’s an exciting time of year at the winery!

Yesterday, everything was feeling challenging. Glasses were broken, hummus was dropped and the vibes were off. And then we found out Dolly Parton died, and it all made sense.

So when we finished the day we had a little staff dance party, toast, and poured one out. Dolly’s spirit, joy and generosity meant a lot to each of us. Cheers, Dolly, we are poorer for your absence.
