One of the many things that make Sunshine a special place is our proximity to the Mill Pond and Rock Lake as well as downtown Lake Mills (an incredible place to be). A b**r or a taco on the patio is accompanied most nights by a beautiful sunset over the water. Just a hop, skip, or jump takes you right up to the edge of Mill Pond, where you might be lucky enough to see a frog, a turtle, or even a sandhill crane!

If you want to take enjoying the water to the next level, and do so with some great company, we've created a Thursday Night Kayaking Club that departs from the Mill Pond Launch (just 1 or 2 more hops, skips, or jumps around the corner) for a paddle at 6 pm every week. There's even kayak rentals available right there at an affordable rate so that everybody can enjoy! 🚣🌅
