Halliday’s Winery is named after Jesse Halliday who

joins Ron and Mike Birchak as our third proprietor. Born in 1774, Jesse was one of Ohio's first entrepreneurs -- making commercial use of the scenic Mahoning River. He built a river-powered grist mill less than a half mile from the Winery. Over 200 years later, our proprietors found themselves presented with a wonderful opportunity. Halliday's Winery showcases the history, stories and faces of the area along with Northest Ohio's passion for quality wine, beer and food. Halliday’s Winery is a testimonial to the wonderful history of the Mahoning River Valley.
