Always something going on at Drumgoon we are fitting new turner high lift stalls for our double 36 parlor at Norden barn
Trying to get 2-3 hours work done daily as well as milking 2500 cows 3x is a challenge thanks Midwest systems

Second cut alfalfa almost finished 2800 acres good crop very nice quality after only 20 days regrowing

And as always thanks to great repro we have an excellent supply of dairy and dairy beef cross calves coming currently calving a little over 200 a week

Another golden oldie on her 8th lactation. 17889 purchased Swiss-Stein cross heifer. She has done very well extremely consistent cow in her open window

2nd cutting is in action but this is new seeding recently captured in April with rocks being picked. Rain showed up since then and 16 loads came off this field today

Switching over to our new starter pens at Drumgoon east maternity area
These are more compact and allow us to have more increasing the opportunity to get them washed between calves
Calves typically stay one to two days in a pen before being sold(angus crosses) or moved to Kansas to be raised
