I was not expecting this rain. But I will gladly take it for my beans in the garden☺️. I caught this shelf cloud after it had already passed by us and was starting to fall apart. They are pretty cool looking.

🎉🎉Who is ready for some meat for the holiday weekend? The meat raffle has now started! The steaks would be perfect for grilling this weekend. There are a lot of things to use for the cooler months. I love using the ham steaks for ham soup or casseroles. All meat is from animals that we have raised from birth right here on the farm. No vaccines or growth hormones whatsoever. There are 22 spots available. Each number is $10. I will draw a number on random.org after all the spots are filled. Meat is to be picked up by the winner here at the farm at your early convenience. 🥩🥩Just a heads up the meat raffle is going to start at 1 tomorrow afternoon. I'll give you a list of all that will be in it tomorrow before it starts. A mixed bag of mostly beef with some pork.

🎉I just put out some of my all purpose pine cleaner! It works as a disinfectant, degreaser, and mold-fighter. Is antibacterial, antifungal, and deodorizor. All natural ingredients such as vinegar, pine needles, organic orange peels, organic cloves, and citric adic. Each jar comes with directions on when to strain the jar. The citric acid is added after its strained and comes in a little baggie. This is a concentrated mix. So dilute it 1:1 with water in a spray bottle to use. Do not use it on granite or marble as the vinegar and citric acid can etch into it.

🥩🥩Who all is interested if I do another meat raffle? It would be beef steaks, liver, soup bones, heart, roast, possibly pork chops, bacon. $10 per spot. I would start it Wednesday to give people a few days if they want to bring cash for a spot. Otherwise spots can be paid with venmo. This would be our last meat raffle for awhile as we dont have any more animals started right now to grow out.

🧼 More soap made today. This one is cracklin birch. It'll be about a month before its ready. I have some bars of of sweet plum that is almost done curing and will be ready next week. Are there any essential oil blend scents you guys would like to see next in the shed? I thought about doing patchouli but would love your input. I like to have options between fragrance oil scented and essential oils. All my soaps are made with lard from our pigs we raise, coconut oil, castor oil, cow or goat milk, and a fragrance or essential oil for scent.

🍅Tomatoes are finally starting to ripen. I plant mostly meaty and paste tomatoes for all the sauces and salsa that I make. But I also plant a few fun varieties just because they're so pretty! Look at the colors on this one😍. I usually use these for my bruschetta. Or just to use for blt's. Do you guys plant any "fun" varieties just because?
