It is with a heavy heart that I post that we laid Kings Cross Barbyanna to rest a couple weeks ago. This mare was one of my favorites, she was sweet, kind, forward, and built like a tank. She was also one of the last to carry on the bloodline of her sire Vassars E Venter. I was never able to get her to carry a foal to term in the years that I had her, I would have loved to have had a piece of her to live on in the flesh.

After much consideration I have decided to list this lovely boy for sale. Brooks is a coming 5 year old stallion with one foal on the ground (Gethsemane Charlotte RAF) out of Kings Cross Miranda. He is one of 6 son’s from River Riders Rich and the only c**t out of his dam, Mint Kiya. He is correct and is maturing into a stallion his sire would be proud of.

This lovely boy has had the basics in training and is ready to be broke to ride or drive. He is smart, stunning and sensible! He is an absolute joy to work with and I would love to see him go to a breeding and performance home where he can be used to his full potential.

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that Kings Cross Majestic passed away this morning.

This lovely boy was my first Lippitt, my herd sire, a wonderful first stallion who taught me so much. I loved him so very much.

I am beyond heartbroken and will be offline for the next couple of days.

Big announcement here at the farm:

We have gelded Kings Cross Majestic, he is almost completely healed and is doing well. This was a hard decision to make, but it was made in his best interest! We are hoping to be able to integrate him into our non-Morgan herd in the spring, as of right now he is living with the 2 younger stallions.

We were unable to freeze his semen due to my schedule and the semen collection facility’s schedule not lining up. However, he does have 2 c**ts that are still stallions who are standing!

I would like to welcome Gethsemane Charlotte (Brook Hill Mint Edition X Kings Cross Miranda) into to the world! This little lady has been long awaited and prayed for and finally made her appearance on September 19th, 2024. She is the first foal by Brook Hill Mint Edition who was sired by the late River Riders Rich.

Charlotte is owned and was named by her new owner Becca Tyson and will be accompanying her dam to Texas. She is named after Becca's Mother who she says is a strong headed woman who is filled with love. Becca says this special little filly will be retained for her breeding program. :)

Gethsemane Crescendo also affectionately known as Dottie is being offered for your consideration. Dottie is a very smart and forward young lady who is a fast learner. She has an absolutely beautiful trot with lots of action that would do very well in the show ring! Unfortunately, I have not had the time she deserves to work with her in the way I have with other foals in the past. She knows the basic’s, she leads, ties well if tied with a more experienced horse, loads, but will require more work with her feet. She is available to an experienced morgan home as she is not finished with her young horse training.

Her full older siblings include Gethsemane Symphony, Gethsemane Samson, Gethsemane Churchill, and Gethsemane Marcus.

I also want to say a huge congratulations to Becca Tyson on her purchase of Kings Cross Miranda! We were wanting wait to announce this until she foaled, but she must have gotten rebred after she was confirmed and now has a later due date. This lovely lady is bred to Brook Hill Mint Edition for his first foal. She has been a big part of my breeding program and I'm pleased that she'll continue her legacy in another program!

A quick note about the foal she is carrying, if it is a filly, she will be accompanying Randie to her new home. However, if it is a c**t, he will be for sale!

Gethsemane Symphony is being offered for your consideration as a young mare with a very bright future. She is incredibly intelligent and aims to please whomever she is with, she is also very athletic and will do well in whatever direction you point her in. She is 15 generations away from Justin Morgan and it shows! She has been on pasture with lots of hills building muscle and yet still looks refined. She has been my favorite filly from this cross and I would prefer to see go to a breeding home who will also train her to use the potential I know she has.
