The wrong people are in cages.

Approximately 40% of undocumented people are visa overstays. They never committed a criminal infraction.

Crossing the border without authorization is a one time federal misdemeanor that was rarely ever prosecuted. Being in the country without status is a civil offense for both groups. A fine is the punishment for civil offenses, hence their name.

Yet the "law & order" MAGAs with their own rap sheets, who voted for a child 🍇ist felon, who champion J6 cop beaters getting everyone's tax money, have the gall to call all immigrants "criminals". They're both factually wrong and shameless hypocrites.
