Some folks ask: "Where did Jasbo's Salsa recipe come from?" Well, it goes like this:
Late last century I worked with a rather distinguished,elderly
gentleman from Aculpoco.
On lunch break we'd sit and talk while snacking on his fantastic homestyle recipe salsa. After many months of persistance he gave me the recipes along with tips on the correct way to chop, season, cook and can the produuct.
So there you are & here I am with "The Best Salsa This Side of fhe Border."
Now head on out to Arhold Farmers Market this Saturday and/or O'Fallon Farmers Market this Sunday.
You can pick up a pint, a quart or a case & taste what I'm talking about.
Remember: It's all about the lime!!

Running low, low, low on Jasbo's Mexican Recipe Salsa. No more XX...much to the dismay of some. Runnin' low on Tequila & Verde. Gotta get while the gettin's good!
This Morhers Day weekend schedule is as follows: Saturday morning we're at the Arnold Farmers Market.......
a great market with LOTS of vendors!
So get out there Saturday-there is no market on Mothers Day. See you in Arnold! Oh, and as always:

H E Y O O O O O . . . . JASBO
CATS!!!!!!
Hey Cats, got some news: After 15 years we are forced to raise our prices...It's only a dollar but we hate to do it. As you probably know the farmer's price of fertilizer has soared so the cost of our produce has also gone up. Gotta do what we gotta do in order to continue to bring you "The Best Salsa This Side of the Border."
Some better news: This Saturday we return to the Arnold Farmer's Market. They've expanded due to the greater demand for spaces. Their hours are 8 until noon.
Sunday we return to the O'Fallon Farmers Market. As far as I know they are the ONLY farmer's market open on Sunday. Hours: 9 until 1.
We are (as usual) running a little low on some flavors: For you spicy salsa lovers, we are a little low on XX.
Verde Salsa has become very popular as of late so we're kind of short on it too.
So get on out to the markets this weekend-the weather promises to be lovely!

HELLOOOOO JASBO CATS!!!! Big event this weekend! Union Middle School Christmas Craft Show!!! It's in Union, Mo. and it is a monster event! They buy Jasbo Salsa by the case. Come early if you want Tequila Salsa--it sells out first every year. Weather's gonna be fine. Hope to see you all there! Hey, be kind to yourselves...and each other..............jas
