How excited are you for the first day of the Sullivan Family Tree farm? We are open from 9:00am to 4:00pm through the weekend. They are predicting a blizzard Saturday, but we will still be open!

UPDATE: The blizzard got the best of us. We are closing down for the rest of the day as we have dangerous conditions on the farm. At this point we plan to reopen Sunday morning at 9:00am.

We were going to do a Christmas Tree Farm calendar this year but ran out of time so this picture of Farmer Ed will have to do. We open in less than a week! Opening day is the Friday after Thanksgiving from 9-4 and then the next two Saturday and Sundays from 9-4. Any tree you cut down from one foot to ten feet tall is the same price, $70. Leashed pets welcome!

Are you excited for Christmas? We certainly are. The Sullivan Family Tree Farm opens up in a little more than a week, Friday, the day after Thanksgiving from 9-4p. We will be open two Saturday & Sundays from 9-4p (November 25 & 26 and then Dec 2 & 4th). Come out for some good old fashioned family fun. While we continue to have limited operations, we will still have great picture opportunities along with our hayrides. Cut your own tree priced at $60 no matter the size, there will be no pre-cut trees or wreaths available.

We hope all our friends are having a great Fall and looking forward to the Christmas Holiday. That means a trip to the Sullivan Family Farm for a tree! We open in one month the day after Thanksgiving at 9:00am. With COVID still an issue things will look a little different this year again unfortunately. First, we will only open the first two weekends after Thanksgiving. Part of this short season is because we will not be bringing in our usual pre-cut Fir trees and wreaths from Wisconsin to sell. It's a rat race of COVID up-charging that we just don't want to be a part of nor do we want to pass on to our customers. We also will not have the indoor gift barn open for snacks and hot chocolate. But all is not lost during this pandemic though. Bring your family for safe distancing hay rides, walks on the farm in the rolling landscape, and a camera to capture the magic on the farm you and your family will create.

Ever wonder what goes on at the Family Farm in the off season? Well tree planting begins in the Spring. Three hundred baby trees will be planted in the field. Here we have fifty of two hundred baby trees we will keep in a nursery. These nursery trees will get a good start on life in the nursery and then be transplanted to the field in the Fall.

Thank you to all our customers that came to the farm this holiday weekend. We enjoyed seeing all of your families and pets. We hope you had a wonderful time on our farm even with limited operations due to COVID restrictions.

Unfortunately,

We have decided to close the farm for the remainder of the tree cutting season. We sold more of our trees in three days then we did in an entire tree cutting season in past years! The simple fact is Sunday there were more families leaving without a tree than families that found a tree. We feel terrible when families come to the farm but do not find a tree. We hope that in 2021 we will be back to full operations and open again the day after Thanksgiving. Thanks again for your business and have a very Merry Christmas!
