🚗🍪 Cars, cookies, local vendors, and a good cause? Count us in.

We're excited to be joining Wheels for Charities at their Father's Day Car Show on June 20th at Resort at Canopy Oaks!

We'll be bringing our stuffed cookies, cookie cups, cake jars, and plenty of other sweet treats for y'all to enjoy while you check out the cars and shop local. 💕

There will be raffles, food, merchandise, local vendors, and of course some beautiful vehicles on display.

Best part? This event helps support the Spook Hill Elementary 4H Club, so you're supporting local kids while supporting local businesses. ❤️

First and foremost, thank You Lord for getting me through my first solo market yesterday. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Cake It Or Leave It LLC. Every purchase, share, kind word, and visit to the booth means so much to us. 🩷🍪

A special thank you to the host for giving us the opportunity to be part of the market.

We also learned a valuable market lesson yesterday… 🤣

If you see something you want, buy it first and then go walk around.

We had a few people stop by and say they were coming back for certain cookies, but by the time they returned, they had already sold out. 😭🍪

The cookies don’t know you’re coming back. They leave with whoever gets there first. 😂

Thank y’all again for all the love and support.

A customer told us that one day she and her husband were talking about our bakery, and her husband said:

“There’s no way she makes all that herself. She’s probably getting it from a factory.”

Her response?

“No. These taste way better than factory-made. She’s making them herself.” 😂🍪

And she was right.

Everything you see at our booth is made right here in our home bakery. Every cookie, cookie cup, cake jar, and dessert.

Cottage bakers don't always get enough credit because we're usually doing it all ourselves. We don't have a production team hiding in the back somewhere. We're baking, packaging, labeling, ordering supplies, answering messages, updating websites, setting up events, and somehow still finding time to sleep.

And let's not forget the dishes. 😭

The mixing bowls. The spatulas. The measuring cups. The sheet pans. The cooling racks. Somehow every baking session creates enough dishes to make you question your life choices. 😂

And if you're anything like me, half the reason nobody else is in the kitchen is because they don't understand the system anyway. 🤣

To all my fellow cottage bakers out there... I see you. Y'all are out here doing the work of an entire bakery staff from your own kitchen. 🩷

Our Nutty N Nice has been quietly building a fan club… and honestly, we’re not surprised 🥜😭💅

Some of the questions we get all the time:

✨“Why don’t you offer cheesecake?”
✨“Why don’t you sell wholesale?”
✨“Your cookies are so good, we’d love to put them in our store!”
✨“Others do it, why don’t y’all?”

The answer is simple: we’re a cottage bakery.

As a cottage bakery, we’re limited by what Florida law allows us to make and how we can sell it. That means no cheesecakes, no wholesale, and no putting our products on store shelves for someone else to sell.

Now, are there businesses that do things differently? Sure.

But someone else’s business decisions don’t pay our bills, protect our business, or keep our licenses in good standing.

We’ve worked too hard to build Cake It or Leave It LLC the right way to risk it for a cheesecake. 😂We’d rather grow slower and stay compliant than risk losing everything we’ve built.

And trust me… if we ever move into a commercial kitchen and unlock cheesecake privileges, you’ll hear me screaming about it from three counties away. 🤣🍰💕

Y’all, we wanted to share a quick reminder after receiving one of the sweetest voicemails today. 🩷

Today, we received a voicemail from a sweet lady who drove all the way from Vero Beach looking for us after hearing about us on Morning with Grady. 😭

Unfortunately, she discovered something many people don’t know yet: Cake It or Leave It LLC is a home-based cottage bakery. We bake right from our home kitchen, which means we don’t have a storefront for walk-in customers.

Everything we make is baked fresh and made to order. We don’t keep shelves stocked with desserts waiting to be sold. When an order comes in, that’s when the baking begins. 🍪

The fact that someone would make that drive just to find us truly blew us away, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the love and support.

One day, we hope to have a storefront of our own. Until then, we’ll keep baking from home, one order at a time. 🩷🍪
