Money saving tips for grocery shopping:

1. Watch for deals- managers specials, weekly (or 1 day sales), coupons (digital etc) Certain items will go on sale certain times of year (pop/water- graduation, summer, holidays. Baking essentials- holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter. Meat-fall, grilling season)
2. Shop around!!! It's totally fine to buy things from more than 1 place.
3. Stock up!!! Keep pantry essentials on hand and stock your freezer with freezer essentials
4. Shop in bulk if possible- especially for toiletries, household items and things you go through quicker.
5. Only grocery shop once per payday- buy the majority of your groceries once per paycheck.
6. Prep meals and make a list- this will help save money and cut back on figuring out what to cook. Make a weekly meal plan
7. Use leftovers- either eat them as is or turn them into something different (and delicious)
8. Freeze it!! Leftovers, loaves of bread, shredded cheese, coffee creamer, milk (pour out a glass and freeze the rest)
