What goes better with sweets than a perfect savory sandwich?? Not much in our opinion. Which is why we are excited to announce we’ve partnered with Jessie’s Gourmet Sandwiches to bring you those sweets after you’ve eaten an out of this world sandwich! Be on the lookout every week for something new, as the flavors are currently rotating, from Gluten-Friendly to Rice Krispies, we know you’ll find something you love, all while supporting TWO local businesses and their families!

Jessie’s was founded by third-generation restaurateur Jessie Scarpa, with roots that trace back to an Italian immigrant grandfather who opened one of the family’s first restaurants in Winter Haven in the late 1970s. Today, Jessie’s continues that family tradition just steps from her family’s restaurant. It’s built on hospitality, hard work, and taking care of people. Our food is inspired by generations of family recipes and years spent in family kitchens, where we learned to value good ingredients, no shortcuts, and genuine care in every plate. Everything is made in a small kitchen with the kind of attention you’d expect from a home-cooked meal. Our menu leans Italian in honor of our roots, alongside classic sandwiches, local favorites, fresh salads, and seasonal specials, with something for everyone including vegetarian and gluten-friendly options.

When that customer comes back for the one and ONLY Carrot Cake cookie that “I’ve been dreaming about since I had it a few weeks ago”!!! He chose to branch out a little bit this time, but made sure he wasn’t leaving the Downtown Lakeland Market without that famous Carrot Cake

While you’re making important life decisions, don’t forget to grab a carrot cake cookie before it disappears again until next season. Yes, people already started hoarding them.

Go check out Alzaytoon in downtown Lakeland!! They are a premium spot for internationally sourced quality olive oil! They also carry an array of gourmet food items, including Spurzile’s! Definitely a destination location when visiting Lakeland!
