Good Morning, Lakeland, and Happy Monday! ☀️

As we reflect on our first weekend, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible outpouring of support, encouragement, and feedback we’ve received from this amazing community.

Reading your comments, seeing your photos, and hearing about your experiences at The Velvet Swan has truly meant the world to us. Opening this venture has been a dream, and we could not be more thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lakeland community.

Our opening weekend exceeded every expectation, and that’s because of each and every one of you who walked through our doors, shared a kind word, brought a friend, or simply cheered us on from afar.

✨ Meet the Owners of The Velvet Swan ✨

Behind every dream is a story, and ours began long before The Velvet Swan ever opened its doors.

We’re Jeremiah and Tabitha, high school sweethearts, proud parents of three amazing children Kylie, Logan, and Conner and now the owners of The Velvet Swan.

Tabitha is a Lakeland native, born and raised right here in the community she loves. Jeremiah moved to Lakeland at a young age, and this city has been home ever since. Together, we’ve built our life, raised our family, and created countless memories in this town that has given us so much.

While many know Tabitha through her career in nursing, what many may not realize is that serving others has always been at the heart of everything she does. Nursing remains her full-time career and lifelong passion. Whether caring for patients or welcoming guests through the doors of The Velvet Swan, her goal has always been the same helping people feel valued, comfortable, and cared for.

Jeremiah is a lifelong entrepreneur with a passion for building businesses and creating places where people can gather, connect, and make memories. His vision for The Velvet Swan has always been bigger than opening a bar. He hopes it becomes a staple in the Lakeland community a place where friends become family, celebrations are shared, and everyone feels welcome.

Our children are our greatest blessing and our biggest motivation. They are the reason we work hard, take chances, and continue chasing dreams. Everything we do is rooted in creating a legacy that makes them proud.

The Velvet Swan was built with love, faith, determination, and a deep appreciation for the community that has supported us throughout the years. We wanted to create something special for Lakeland a place that feels both elevated and inviting, where every guest can relax, celebrate, and stay awhile.

Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new friends, hearing your kind words, and watching you enjoy the space we’ve worked so hard to create has meant more than we can put into words.
