Have you ever watched a cow being milked? Wondered how sourdough bread is made? Wanted to learn more about raising chickens or keeping bees?

Tomorrow and Saturday, you’ll have the chance to meet local homesteaders and watch live demonstrations that bring farm life to life. Plus, enjoy our exclusive wagon ride to the cow milking demonstration, food trucks, and all the farm fun you know and love at Oma’s.

Did you know that Homestead Happenings is the only Recess event that includes a wagon ride?

You and your family can hop aboard a wagon ride across the farm where you’ll be taken to a special cow milking demonstration, just one of the many educational experiences happening this Friday and Saturday.

You’ll also have the chance to learn from a beekeeper, sourdough maker, and chicken raiser, all while enjoying food trucks and the farm fun you know and love at Oma’s.

Homestead Happenings Recess is next week, June 5 & 6 from 9am–6pm.

This Recess event is all about slowing down, learning something new, and experiencing life on the farm. Spend the day lerarning from a beekeeper, sourdough maker, and chicken raiser, plus enjoy a wagon ride out to our cow milking demonstration.

Along with all the special demonstrations, you’ll still get all the Oma’s fun you know and love, plus food trucks so you can make a full day of it.
