Good afternoon!
We have corn today at our two self serve stands. The one pictured here (Morley) and next to McDonald’s in Lakeview. We are happy to announce that some locations will have fresh corn Friday and Saturday (9/5 and 9/6). This is a great opportunity to freeze a little more or enjoy one of the last times out on the grill. We will post those locations in the morning so everyone is aware. As always, we appreciate everyone’s loyalty and hope to feed many more people this weekend!

Grandma Sug’s Easy Freezer Corn (Nancy Carr)

8 Cups raw corn off the cob
3/4 cup water
1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. salt

Bring to a boil over med/high heat for two minutes. Bag and freeze.

Try some without the butter to use in recipes.

Pro Tip.... Try using a bundt cake pan to hold the ear.

Who’s ready for some corn?
Monday can’t come fast enough! Just to be clear, the 28th and the 29th we will sell corn. The 30th we will be off! After that, Thursday-Sunday until Labor Day weekend.
Also, we sell our corn by the dozen, not by the bushel. A Carr’s farmers dozen(14 ears) is 10$. Anything less than that will be 1$/ear. Cash only❗️

As many have been waiting…
We have decided to start supplying our corn on Monday, July 28th. We will sell Monday and Tuesday, break on Wednesday, and then resume sales Thursday and go through Sunday like our usual week/weekend looks like. We appreciate everyone’s patience this year, as we are starting later than last year. Ultimately, the weather dictates that for us. We assure you the wait is worth it!
There will be a follow up post that will also be pinned at the top of our page that has updated locations for the 2025 season. Most are the same as always.
We appreciate all of you, and can’t wait to start our corn season in just a few short days!
