Baking Addiction

I love to bake. It’s very therapeutic! I grew up in Port Hood, Cape Breton- Nova Scotia, hence the name of my baking site. I learned a lot about baking from my aunts and my cousin, Donna, who is an amazing baker. I used to watch her bake- she probably doesn’t remember! I provide all of the desserts for our family gatherings here in Massachusetts and of course I bake when I’m home in Port Hood. I usually go overboard but I love trying new recipes. Food makes people happy, especially something sweet! These moments of enjoyment give some reprieve during these crazy times. Everyone looks forward to a cup of tea or coffee and a sweet or two! I am the happiest when I am in the kitchen!
