🌞 Good Tuesday Morning — Pocket Flock Brigade 🐥

The flock was up, out, and ready to get Tuesday started this morning. A little breakfast rush, a little attitude, and a whole lot of tiny chicken business happening before most of us have even finished our coffee. 😂

Tuesday is one of those days where you just keep moving, handle what’s in front of you, and try not to overcomplicate it.

The flock came out ready to get this Monday moving, and after the weekend heat, I think we’re all just hoping for a little easier day. 😂 Breakfast first, a little flock chatter, and then everyone settles into their own Monday routine.

New week, fresh start, and plenty of tiny personalities keeping things interesting around here. 💚

🌿 Sunday with the Pocket Flock Brigade 🐥

Another hot and muggy morning, but today the flock was a little slower and much more cautious coming out.

Late yesterday afternoon, we had a hawk scare. It simply landed on top of the run, but that was enough. The roosters immediately did exactly what they were supposed to do and ushered everyone under cover. No one was hurt, but this morning they clearly remembered.

So today is a quieter kind of Sunday. Fresh water, plenty of shade, and I made them a calming herbal tea to mix into their water while they settle back into their normal routine. 💚

Sometimes caring for a flock is knowing when to let them slow down, regroup, and feel safe again.

“Peace comes when we feel safe enough to soften.”

🌞 Good Saturday Morning — Pocket Flock Brigade 🐥

Another hot and humid one, but the flock was still ready to get the day rolling this morning. 😄 They know the routine by now — get breakfast handled, find the good shady spots, and wait for the cool treats to show up.

And around here, hot days usually mean watermelon and cucumbers fresh from the garden. 🍉🥒 Nothing fancy — just a few simple things that make a sticky summer day a little better.

Saturdays are a good reminder that the best parts of life are often the simple ones — good food, good company, and a little time to enjoy both. 💚
