Since its humble beginnings, Southern Tier has grown into an industry leader and one of the top craft beer producers in the US. Founders Phineas DeMink & Allen ("Skip") Yahn started the brewery in 2002 with the vision of bringing small batch brewing back to a region rich in brewing tradition. ning, Southern Tier has experienced steady growth, currently distributing to over 50% of the United States. Multiple expansions have been made to keep up with demand and the brewery continues to innovate and produce new products.
