🍻 5 YEARS. ONE VERY SPECIAL BEER. A WHOLE LOT OF perZverance. 🍻
Five years ago, as Immigrant Son Brewery was getting started, perZverance IPA became the very first ISB beer we ever put in a can.
Now, as we celebrate our 5th Anniversary, it seemed like the perfect time to bring it back.
And we did. ❤️
perZverance is BACK,freshly brewed, freshly on tap, and back in cans for the first time since that original release!
This approachable West Coast-style IPA was created in honor of Cleveland’s own Zydrunas “Z” Ilgauskas, an immigrant from Lithuania who adopted Cleveland as his home, persevered through incredible personal and professional hardships, and went on to an amazing 13-year NBA career.
But Z is more than a Cleveland basketball legend. He is kind, humble, genuine and approachable.
We always thought the beer bearing his name should be the same.
And five years later, perZverance means even more to us.
There have been incredible highs, some pretty tough lows, a whole lot of lessons, and one hell of a ride.
Through it all, our team has persevered.
We’re still here. Still brewing. Still growing. Still believing. And still raising a glass with all of you.
Here’s to Z.

Five years ago we opened the doors and hoped somebody would show up.

You showed up. Then you kept showing up. You drank the Kölsch, you argued about which lángos is best, you brought your parents, you brought your kids, you brought that one friend who only drinks IPAs and converted him anyway. The beers picked up some hardware along the way. That part's nice. You're the part that matters.

So we're throwing a party. On a golf course. Where none of us belong.

ISB 5th Anniversary Golf Outing
Friday, October 2 at Mallard Creek Golf Club
Four-person scramble, because nobody wants their real score written down

What you get: 18 holes with a cart. A welcome pint of Hungarian Pearl Kölsch before you've done anything to earn it. More ISB beer out on the course, which is either going to help your swing or explain it. Raffles, prizes, giveaways. Then a full ISB catered dinner at the pavilion, where the stories get better than the golf was.

Team of four: $450. Fifty bucks cheaper than four singles. Bring your people.
Single golfer: $125. No team? We'll find you three strangers who will become your people by hole 6.
Dinner only: $50. Zero golf, all party. Honestly the smart play.

Our alphabetical trip through Northeast Ohio’s 2026 U.S. Open Beer Championship medal winners continues in Lakewood.

Immigrant Son Brewery brought home:

🥈 SILVER — Street Lager Mexican Lager with Lime
American-Style Fruit Beer

That puts another Northeast Ohio brewery on the medal board in one of the country’s largest annual beer competitions.

Immigrant Son has built a reputation around approachable, food-friendly beers with a little personality, and Street Lager delivered on the national stage.

🍻 Congratulations to the Andrew Revy and the Immigrant Son brewing team, led by Erik Luli, on the silver.

We’re continuing through the Northeast Ohio winners alphabetically.
