What: Aunt Janie's is serving a Free Will Grab-n-Go Breakfast.

When: Saturday June 27. Serving from 7:30 a.m. till 11 a.m. or until gone!

Where: The Market Village on Main Street (next to the post office) in Lakota.

Why: Raising money for the Nelson County K9 Units that strictly operate by donation. All proceeds go there! And to serve the community a homemade breakfast on turkey BBQ weekend!!

Menu: Caramel rolls, homemade Bread Braid Breakfast Sandwich (even the bread is made from scratch), Homemade biscuits and gravy.

Im trying to decide what to do before Christmas! Help me out.....

Would you rather:
1. Me make a bunch of different goodies and decorated Sugar cookies and putting each flavor/design in its own tub and you go around and fill a box with goodies?
OR
2. I make cut out Sugar cookies and bring both buttercream and royal icing and you decorate your own cookies?

Its the yummy, "made from scratch" caramel apple season again! I'll be selling these that are pictured at the NCSCD Ladies Ag night on Tuesday night in Lakota at the community center from 5 to 8. I'll also be demonstrating how to make the tuxedo chocolate dipped strawberry (or any other design you might want to see). Each customer gets 5 strawberries for $10 to practice dipping and take them home in a cute little 4 inch window box. Come get your tickets for a catered meatball dinner by Sissy's Bakery and go home with some caramel apples or chocolate dipped strawberries! See you Tuesday evening!!

My pies and caramel apples will be at a craft show in the Grand Forks C'mon Inn Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Pie flavors are Juneberry, Juneberry crunch, salted caramel apple, chocolate pecan, heath pumpkin and almond cherry. There are also some beautiful winter, Christmas and fall crafts....the pictures show a little of what is there.
