We have new arrivals on the farm today. Our little Kikiriki mother hen hatched babies this morning. She had been faithfully sitting on 5 little tiny eggs. All 5 hatched. The kikiriki is a micro bantam chicken, one of the smallest breeds in the chicken world.

Our zebra is happy to be in his normal enclosure getting to visit with all the kiddos that came for field trips this week. On Monday he made a trip to town for a pedicure (hooves trimmed). 😊. Thank you to Parker Animal Clinic for always taking good care of all our speciality animals. Thank you to Tim Smith for meeting us there to trim the hooves. The procedure went so good and the zebra is prancing around feeling great! ❤️

Meet AL, our newest member of the petting zoo. He moved in Sunday ahead of the birthday parties. By the end of the day he was already eating food from the spoons! ❤️. We will be open to the public Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (March 25-27), 12:00 noon - 5:00 PM for a special spring break opening. Come on out to the farm and meet our new alpaca! Admission price is $8 per person.
