As spring calves continue to grow and mature, there’s nothing more exciting than watching the results of last year’s breeding decisions begin to take shape.

We’d love to see how your Sutphin bulls are working for you! Whether it’s your herd sire, this year’s spring calf crop, fall calves you’ve weaned, or any calves sired by a Sutphin bull, share your photos in the comments below.

One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is seeing the success our customers are having. John especially loved seeing those “results.” If you knew John, you also knew his love for group chats. Every time someone sent photos of a standout calf crop or a bull doing his job, chances are they were getting shared with excitement to one of his many group chats before long.

Happy Father’s Day

Today we celebrate the fathers who guide us, support us, and teach us what hard work truly means.

This Father’s Day, we also remember John Sutphin III and the lasting impact he made on his family, friends, customers, and the cattle industry. While his boots may no longer walk these pastures, the values he lived by continue to shape the future of Sutphin Cattle Company every day.

To all the fathers, grandfathers, and mentors—thank you for the example you set and the legacy you leave behind.
