Our good friend Dave Kestel, who farms not far south of Chicago, was out to do some inspirational tillage again earlier this week. He has done this for a few years now in a region where many airplanes pass by overhead.

Dave wants to make sure we remember why we observe Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

We’re glad that we could get the wheat sprayed before this moisture! This was also a test run for our new liquid tender trailer. The addition of mixing cones will help us mix more easily and efficiently out in the field. The pretty blue liquid is copper!

Yesterday’s weather gave us the opportunity to use the stream bars on some wheat! We were able to get our crop fed with nitrogen, a micronutrient package, and a biological package.
