Deershorn Farm has added a brand-new 6,800 sq. ft. greenhouse, giving us the ability to grow some of your favorites this winter such as spinach, collard greens, beets, carrots, kale, and radishes. We’re hoping to start harvesting in December, right alongside our year round offerings of fresh eggs and honey. This new space should also help us get an earlier jump next spring on tomatoes and cucumbers!

We at Deershorn Farm in Lancaster Ma love our workers! As many of you are aware, we have a number of workers who come from Jamaica. These workers are an integral part of our team and are heavily involved in the farm's success.

On October 28th, Jamaica was hit by Hurricane Melissa a devastating Category 5 Hurricane. The farm has started this gofundme page asking if you can to make a donation for our staff. These funds will be use to help rebuild their homes in Jamaica, they themselves are still here at the farm, unable to get back to Jamaica to help their loved ones. They still have not heard from some of their loved ones and have had sleepless nights.

Deershorn Farm thanks you in advance for your support of our staff during this extraordinary crisis.

For those who have contributed so far, thank you as these funds will be used to meet the ongoing needs of our staff at home.

Labor Day is almost here! And even as cooler temperatures roll in, our season will still be going strong through the end of October. We currently have a big selection of all your favorites including corn, tomatoes, peaches, apples, carrots, broccoli, pak choi, garlic, and more! And don't forget, we'll be carrying corn and apples at our farm stand and farmer's markets throughout the next couple months (weather pending). Stop in now and see what we have available!!
