Wayward Haven Farm

Wayward Haven Farm We begin with subsistence: tending our health and wellbeing so our work can truly sustain us. Every offering emerges from the land and the season itself...

From there, we plant, craft, and create—enough for ourselves and enough to share. Wayward Haven Farm (WHF) is owned and operated by Jo & Michael Nunemaker. Jo grew up in Pendleton County, Ky and Michael is from Floyd County. With backgrounds in gardening, music, art, and business leadership, they moved home to Kentucky in 2019 after living in Alaska for 11 years to build their thriving little wayward haven; a verdant hill farm on Mount Hebron Road in Lancaster, Kentucky.

Good Friday Night Nicholasville Farmers' Market fans and friends!

I'm sorry to say Michael and I won't be at market tomorrow, but should be back next week.

I understand that there will be chicken back in stock and some honey available tomorrow along with the fresh grown yoms from Clover Hilltop and the goodies of Southern Starr Bakery.

I do still have tomato juice, bloody mary mix, canned tomatoes in juice, and salsa in stock, so if you can't wait till next Saturday, text me at 859-339-1313, and we'll get some to ya.

Have a beautiful wonderful weekend!

Good morning my darling friends. It is 6:38 am, Saturday, June 27.

At this late hour, we have decided NOT to set up this morning at Nicholasville Farmers' Market.

I love rain. I love a jaunty wind. But lightning is a no go and I want us all to be safe.

Please remember, you can call me this week to order any fresh vegetables, canned yoms, or what ever we have and I will deliver pre-paid orders to you.

We are Grateful for all of you.

Bright blessing. Stay safe. Don't forget to hydrate.

Okey dokey. I just made wild blackberry jam. Only question... did i just make 6 half pint jolly ranchers, or a damn fine spreadable jam?
