Sometimes the farm surprises you.

We were out checking strawberries this week when one of our crew spotted this — a mourning dove nest, right there in the patch. Two little eggs, tucked in like they’d always belonged there.

Nobody moved it. They just took a picture and kept picking.

That’s the thing about farming that doesn’t always make the highlight reel. This ground doesn’t belong to us alone. A mama dove picked our strawberry patch to start her family, and we’re good with that.

So we left three strawberries right next to the nest. Our crew has been checking on them every day.

From seed to fruit, from egg to chick — there’s something happening out here all the time that has nothing to do with a harvest and everything to do with why we love this land.

Five generations on this ground. We’ve learned to share it.

🍅 You’re part of this harvest.

Most people never think about what goes into a tomato. The seed catalogs. The seedlings under grow lights in February. The staking, the pruning, the daily walkthroughs checking every plant.

But you do — because you choose to know where your food comes from and how it was grown. And we believe you deserve that. You deserve to look your kids in the eye when they ask “where did this come from?” and actually have an answer.

Because there’s something that happens when you slice into a tomato you trust — one you watched grow, one with a story behind it. You set it on the table, your family sits down, and somewhere in that moment you feel it. Pride. Peace. The quiet satisfaction of knowing exactly what you’re feeding the people you love most.

We are trying to change the way you look at your food.
