*Layken Update* 🦆

For those following Layken, I wanted to put out a quick update. She’s recovering nicely, she was allowed a supervised outdoor visit session with the 4 hen friends she has left today. She’s still pretty uneasy on her feet, as you can see from the video she loses her balance and almost falls over. She’s still having a hard time picking her head up from eating but she’s gaining more strength daily. Her wounds are healing slowly but surely, we are keeping a close eye on them for any possible infection. ❤️ I was happy to see her hop in the water bowl for a quick swim!

Announcement:

Dagon Family Acres will be temporarily stepping away to take some time to focus on family. If you have a pony party booked for this summer, we are keeping what reservations we currently have but will not be taking any new bookings until further notice.

We still have some whole chickens available to purchase but are not currently raising anymore meat chicks until further notice. For those that get their fresh eggs from us, we will still have eggs available, message Brittney or Tim to order. We are currently still participating in the farmers markets but could be subject to change. What candle orders are in now will be completed but we are no longer taking new candle orders in at the time.

Thank you to all that have supported us thus far. We appreciate everyone’s patience, support and understanding during this time.
