Today’s soup is perfect to warm you up on this rainy day! Roasted red pepper soup brings the warmth of summer in red peppers, roasted and blended with vegetable broth, garlic, cream, and onions.

We are back to normal operations this week with all of our goodies! Our first soup comes back with a bang! Cheesy Chicken Jalapeño packs in the flavor of jalapeños, cheese, chicken, carrots, and onions in a creamy base.

Ric’s Bread has been around for some time, and previous owners Mike and Shelly really turned the bakery into a wonderful business with amazing breads and baked goods! It has somehow been a full year (as of May 8) that Katie-Marie and Clay have been continuing that legacy. It has been a wild ride, but we wouldn’t change a second of it. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over this past year! We look forward to continuing to serve the Lancaster and Philadelphia communities! We also want to give a huge thanks and all of our appreciation to the amazing Ric’s Bread staff. We would be nothing without you all! (Special shoutout to Tom, the Mayor of Central Market/the Muffin Man, who was traveling when we shot the video.)

Hi Ric’s Bread fans, this post has been super difficult to write, but one thing we love about our community, is that you all are always so generous, not just financially, but also through love and support to others who need it. One of our very loved and cherished Ric’s Bread employees, their cousin has been taken by I.C.E., forcing him to leave his wife and 8-month-old daughter. As our hearts are breaking right now, we are asking for you to consider donating to the family to support the next steps they have to take. Please share this post as well.
