Introducing our 2026 corn maze theme: United States History!

Our large maze will have escape-room style puzzles with US history incorporated into the game, so study up. Also, this year we were nominated for USA TODAY top 10 best corn mazes. If you have a chance, you can vote for us to be in the top 10 at the link below; you can vote once every 24 hours!

Our opening date is Friday September 18th. As a heads up, we will only be open until 10pm on Saturdays this year instead of both Friday and Saturday.

The correct answer to our little challenge is The Liberty Bell. The first correct commenter on Facebook and Instagram have each been notified they are winners. The theme for this maze will be United States history.

This picture was taken July 13th, a week after planting. You can see clearly the lines of corn made by the planter. The randomly placed corn plants are actually straight lines of corn perpendicular to the lines you see because we plant in two directions. With all the rain we've gotten this week, the corn is growing s few inches per day.

Cutting the design into the corn maze today! This is our 14th maze using our original, outdated, GPS equipment. I breathe a huge sigh of relief when it's finished because we have no backup system. Opening day for this fall is September 18th. The first person to correctly identify the object being cut wins four corn maze tickets!

You may recall that back in May we had a couple days where all strawberry sales went towards food purchases for the Nourish Up food bank at Harrison Church. Our customers raised over $1700, including the money donated on our final free strawberry day. We have been quite busy the past few weeks and were not able to purchase the food until today. We will bring this food to Harrison on Tuesday morning. Thank you to those who contributed!

Sometimes we get to leave the farm and visit other farms in the area! We just visited Bumble Berry Farms NC who we met at the NC Strawberry Association expo late last fall. They just had their first u-pick strawberry season and are currently in their first blackberry season. We have been giving them a little advice on growing fall season pumpkins, so if you are in the Catawba NC area, go check them out! Their blackberries are super sweet right now, too.

Tuesday June 23 upick open 8am-1pm . I said we are finished but we picked 3 gal of Ruby Junes and sb025s in 30 minutes on Monday. After so much money and resources to produce this crop, I can't bear to waste so many sweet berries. So Tuesday 8am-1pm strawberry picking is open and completely FREE. I recommend Ruby June (last 20 or so rows) or sb025 (first 15 rows). The only places open are the parking lot, strawberry field, and restrooms. Please stay out of all other areas as we are working and can't have visitors around. The entire play area and animal area is CLOSED. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN CONTAINERS as there will be no staff to sell our buckets.
