We are closed to the public until Friday 10/16 12pm-8pm. We apologize that we previously planned to open Wednesday and Thursday, but the high temperatures this week and schools in session will greatly reduce guest visits.

Please complete the liability waiver one time only for every adult and minor visiting the farm. You can find a link to the waiver at the top of our website. This new waiver requirement, required by our new insurance provider, is costing us thousands of dollars in fees and staff labor, and has become an enormous burden for us. When you check in at the farm with properly completed waivers for your entire party, it really speeds up the check-in process. Link to website is in the comments.

Monday 10/12 open 9am-6pm. All activities and food (except pizza and out of a few items) are open today. There are still hundreds of small and medium pumpkins still on the vine in our field.

TJ started working at the farm this year, and he has been a customer for quite a few years. We have had quite a few high school aged employees who started out as customers.

For many of our younger staff, this is their first outside-the-home job, and they are often placed into an incredibly stressful and intimidating position interacting with adult customers, communicating complicated corn maze instructions and height restrictions on activities, and enforcing our safety rules. Our veteran staff put a lot of effort into mentoring new staff and helping them to improve their customer service and communication skills. We ask for patience and grace from you as you interact with all of our staff.

Sunday 10/11 we are open until 6pm. It is dry, cool, and no one is here. See pics with no lines. Don't wait for next weekend because it will be wall to wall people then. Today and tomorrow are fabulous days to be outside at the farm.

Sunday 10/11 open 10am-6pm. The rain will be completely over before we open, and the entire day will be rain-free. Be prepared for wet ground (wear shoes or boots with treads) especially in the corn maze. All food and activities are a GO!

Sunday 10/11 we plan to open 10am-6pm, but the weather may not be kind to us. We will post an update here at 8 am. It will be wet wet wet so wear shoes/boots that have some traction. All activities and food will be available.

Columbus Day 10/12 we will be open 9am-6pm.

We ran across this very well written article and video about us. My only edit would be that we were not the recipients of that big chunk of change when the old farm sold. We were just borrowing the land from the aunts and uncles who owned it, which is why we had to move. If we were recipients of all that cheddar, we probably wouldn't be breaking ourselves farming. The article is way too flattering, but we do appreciate the kind words.

Saturday 10/10 CLOSED all day due to Hurricane Isaias passing through. We hope to have a late opening Sunday if the weather clears out of here quickly. We will definitely be open Monday 9am-6pm. Lots of small and medium pumpkins on the vine, especially at the farm end of the field, waiting to be taken home.

Our season has been lackluster to the point of us having to cut a lot of employee hours...until the tsunami of guests hit us Friday. It was our first real test of dealing with the new waiver requirement, and I would have to give us a B-. We reorganized the check-in process 3 or 4 times in the past 2 weeks, and the latest iteration is about as efficient as we can make it. Even with 5 staff handling the check-in process, the line at its peak reached about 200 feet long! We almost certainly will be changing our ticketing process to simplify and accelerate entry into the farm. In the meantime, making sure that every adult in your party has individually completed a waiver and that all minors are listed on one or more adult's waiver will help the line move quickly.

Friday 10/9 OPEN 12pm-8pm. Today is the only day guaranteed to be cool and dry this weekend so come pick a pumpkin off the vine, get lost in our United States History corn maze (and learn some history while solving the nine puzzle challenges hidden in the maze), and chow down on our excellent food offerings. I took this drone shot of the maze Thursday morning and can report that the maze is thick, 8-10 feet tall, and in excellent condition! We stop selling all activity tickets (mazes, goat and kid walks, kidzone, and hayride) at 7 pm, the kitchen closes at 7 pm, and the bakery closes at 7:30 pm.

Here are our hours for the next few days, but plan on some or all of Saturday and Sunday getting rained out:

Wednesday 10/7 open 12pm-6pm. Check out the new Hall Family Farm canvas tote bag available in the general store. We have another sunny day in the 70s to enjoy. Remember to bring your phone fully charged to tackle the big corn maze. The farm will not be busy today and will be most enjoyable.
