Thursday June 18 upick is open 9am-1pm. Picking is very much an easter egg hunt...you can find a nice berry on every 3rd or 4th plant. The berries are mostly small and medium sized now. Strawberries are half price ($1.99/lb) plus 50 cents if you take our bucket. Snapdragon flowers are getting scarce but are also half price ($5.50 to fill a pint jar). Grab a bucket and/or jar at the entrance to the field, pick, then pay at window 4 at the bakery. We have for sale lemonade slushies and cold drinks. The free play areas are open. No ticketed activities are open.

We keep announcing "one more day open" because y'all keep bringing out pretty berries. Picking definitely requires time and dedicated effort now.

We are working under feline supervision today.

We are very, very close to the end of strawberry picking. Tomorrow may be the last day.

We found another beautiful spear point right next to the Goat Walk; this one was nearly complete. This site must have been significant to the Native Americans, as we have found dozens of points under the Goat Walk tree.

If we don't get picked out Sunday, then we will open Monday. We will make that decision Sunday afternoon. Process your berries immediately or get them refrigerated. The heat and ripeness will melt them quickly.

We have a hard stop to strawberry picking in just a few days because we have to mow the plants down and plant pumpkins. There are a lot more incredible berries than pickers. Don't miss one last great half price picking opportunity.

The Camarosa variety is perfection right now. Deep deep red on the outside and red all over inside. Nature's candy.

These late season fully ripe berries are extremely perishable. Don't let them sit in a hot car and process or refrigerate them promptly. They are as good as strawberries get right now.

We will open Saturday same hours.

Blueberry donuts today!

Thursday June 11th upick is open 9am-3pm. Picking is still very good...move the plants all around and if nothing is there move to another spot. Someone probably picked that spot on Wednesday. We will open the same stuff Friday and Saturday 9am-3pm if we still have berries to pick. One of our longtime customers posted a pic of her berries spread out Wed morning. She clearly knows how to pick a perfect strawberry, and the berries are definitely out there waiting to be picked.
