MDGA Best of the Midwest in the books! Had a great show and even better time with friends this weekend.
Come for the youth show, have some fun in the open, enjoy the company the most! ❤️

Highlights
Youth
Claire - won in a huge class of Junior showmanship! 1st of 17. So much improvement from last week! She really worked hard.
Zach.. omg! This kid is one to watch out for. He's hungry. Same showmanship class as Claire. But he was there for it! 10th of 17!

Now friends... this class of 8-10 yr old showmanship lasted 1 hour and 20... yes 1 hr & 2-0 minutes! To say I'm proud of them, understatement. Zach was not a fan of the length. But man when I tucked him in Saturday night and he said 'When I get home I'm practicing for an hour each time to get ready for nationals' ❤️❤️❤️ heart full.

Youth saanen highlight- Zach won best of Breed with his showmanship doe and favorite Saanen. Puetz Valley Ranch Rosalina. Rosalina also went on to get a reserve champion in the open show. Claire's doe Voodoo was reserve youth champion Saanen.

Both kids won mostly first and second placings with their goats.

Our Alpine Puetz Valley Ranch Jucy Gossip secured her dry leg in the open show.

Skyler joined us this weekend and I don't know that she even sat down. Had a stellar showmanship ring in the 17-20 class placing 3rd amongst some of the best in the Midwest! She and her favorite doe Puetz Valley Ranch Sam Brie sure make a great pair! Can't wait to see them work together the rest of the season!
Not to mention she was a great help!

Shout out to the best Becky Posusta Fidder & Adam for all the everything! Help, meals, prepping, giggles, and all of it.
And of course Craig Koopmann & Blake. Never dull with 'it's her first trip off the farm' moments & always a pleasure to show with you!

Friends that are family is what we are here for ❤️❤️❤️

Our Bacon Seeds were planted early this year!

We have a few hogs left; whole or half.

What a great 2 weekends out for spring show season!
Last weekend Tri-State Classic
This weekend WDGA Badger Classic
We have a new finished Champion in our barn. Ch (pending) Puetz Valley Ranch Sam Brie.
CH Puetz Valley Ranch Vesper was BOB in both her rings today.
Zachary is doing great in Peewee showmanship and even asked to be signed up for Natinals....! We love seeing him so excited!
Claire has also done well winning last weekend and this weekend did amazing being the youngest in a super strong class of Juniors. She had the highest score on her quiz to win top showman ❤️

Huge shout out to Becky Posusta Fidder and Adam for all the help and teamwork! What great shows! And more adventures to come.

Took a little trip this weekend. Tried a new show. Safe to say it was a great weekend! Youth show Friday night. Showmanship & 2 ring open show on Saturday. Our girls did not disappoint.
A few highlights.
🌟Claire & Zach both placed 2nd in their respective Showmanship classes (Claire being one of the youngest in her class and Zach really is growing!)
🌟Youth show; Claire reserve champion Sr Saanen. Zach reserve champion junior Alpine.
🌟Open Show; Reserve Champion Senior Saanen, Reserve Champion Junior Alpine.
🌟🌟Biggest accomplishment! Puetz Valley Ranch Sam Vaeda, owned and showed by Claire, Best Udder Saanen in both rings!

Both kids worked hard and showed hard! Great first outing for the year ❤️🐐

Kidding season is here! So far a lot of snow on the farm. We are loving these babies ❤️ LAI kids are showing us they are worth the wait.

Our little engine that can. While she may be small in stature she sure makes up for it in being the "complete package". Destiny has a mammary that catches my eye every time she steps on the milk stand. Wide and level rump. Strong feet and legs. I can just go on and on.

Destiny had a good show season too. Consistently placed near top of her classes. 2x RGCH, 2x GCH at youth shows-including a BIS at MDGA Youth Show, and 2nd youth placing at 2025 ADGA National Show. She continues to mature and we cannot wait to see what her 3 yr old year brings!

Destiny is confirmed pregnant and due beginning of March with McQuitty-Farm Moon Casper. Bucks are available.

Christmas is getting closer... Just over a month until we see some babies ❤️

Puetz Valley Ranch PGS Vera is yet another farm favorite!
Vera had a great year. She appraised VG89 VEEV. We LOVE Vera's general appearance, back, & rump. She is a maternal sister to Vesper. While Vera is still chasing one for GCH to finish, she was 2x RGCH, 2024-11th at Nationals as a 2 yr old & 2025-17th at nationals as a 3 yr old, GCH Junior WI State Fair Saanen-placing 3rd overall, and her personal claim to fame falls in the showmanship ring. Every club, 4H, and State level showmanship ring she and her handler pulled off a win! Claire and Vera did amazing at nationals with a 6th place finish. While we fully understand that showmanship is mostly the handler... but every handler needs a good goat. Vera is just that. Beautiful with the best personality, forgiveness and love for any youth that grabs her collar.

Vera is confirmed pregnant and due mid Feb.
She is bred to Whey-To-Go YD Tinman. With Tinman's proven daughters we are so excited for this cross. She tends to be stingy on kids with 3 single does in all 3 of her lactatios... we are hopeful for a change. If this breeding interests you, PM to be on her wait list.
