Jack Black Longhorns

Jack Black Longhorns We breed registered Longhorn Cattle, and grow fine unadulterated beef. I fed her and her two growing bulls. I even taught Jesse to let me ride her.

Growing up my parents were heavily involved in race horses, however cattle always spoke to me more. I got my first real chance with them when the neighbors sold their property and it was vacant many months. A cow and two of her bull calves were left with no pasture in the hottest season of the year. I immediately rose to the challenge spending all my money to buy them food and commenced to look af

ter the bovine trio. Jesse the mother cow, an aging milking Jersey had bad mastitis and I fought to help it clear up. Learned my lesson about being careful around horns, almost gored by a playful 1500 pound bull called Boof. I thoroughly enjoyed those cattle so much during those hot summer months. Shocked when some weeks later Jesse gave birth to a beautiful baby heifer, her last. I may have deviated professionally to do art, however always the undercurrents of wishing to have cattle remained. I can remember the new people moving in and not even a word of thanks for care taking all those months. Those four cows were sent off to slaughter, however my impressions and dreams remained. I devote this farm to you Jesse, and that fabulous time you gave me.
