Just a reminder…….

Just a friendly reminder that even though the brewery is closed, we still carry Legacy Springs Farm Dairy, LLC raw milk, hens are still laying eggs, and selling beef, all while starting up O’Neal Shiers Aquatics, PC to hopefully open back Benford Brewing & Farm Life. We’re normally here all weekend, but just give us a simple text listed on the page for availability!

Well, it looks like we have a real insurance company coming into South Carolina starting July 1. All the hell I’ve been raising has been to just try and help the whole industry, so I have to share this. South Carolina Bar & Tavern Association South Carolina Brewers Guild please share, it’s here!

It’s a shame so many businesses have closed, it still is a very political/corrupt trial attorney issue!

This was a referral from a local business, thank you . We’re helping each other out more than any freaking politician!

My job is now finished…. Go get it!

Now, I am a little too invested in the swimming pool business at this moment to jump right back into brewing beer. Once I get this business running, there may be a potential to even hire a brewer and staff. Give me a few months, great things may happen!

Hello ,
I’m stepping back from this brewery page for a while and reopen down the road if it becomes fun and affordable again. The equipment isn’t going anywhere — it’s safe and ready for when the time is right.
For now, my complete focus is on our new business and family partnership. Please check out our bio for all the details!

Congratulations Brandon Newton on your win! When I closed my business, I was overwhelmed by the amount of information given to me regarding lobbyists I’ve never heard of such as the South Carolina Association of Justice. It made the South Carolina Beer Wholesalers association lobbying tactics look as innocent as a Girl Scout cookie sale!

Out of all the people who have reached out, Dan Saffer needing help addressing the intersection of Hwy 5/Riverside Rd issue was the most concerning. You should directly reach out to him. He said Mike Neese had been easy to communicate with (and I’ll just leave it there). You both should be fast tracking this dangerous intersection on district lines immediately and updating the public on the progress.

Moving forward, 110% of my focus is my return the swimming pool construction industry. Maybe, when owning a brewery can become fun and affordable again (BFAA), I will consider reopening. Creating income for my family is top priority! Ironically (and not planned), the new logo was finalized just a few hours ago and our public launch starts today!

Most of the comments I see regarding Russell Brazell for SC House is that he’s not from Lancaster. If the city limits was thriving, all the building where being restored and business are rushing into downtown, then maybe the current leadership would be OK. But it’s not happening! We honestly have been trying for years with The Craft Stand, now LA Tap Room, 521 BBQ Lancaster which has gone through several ownership changes. This has been going on for many years! The only way to thrive a community is to allow small businesses the freedom to operate and make a profit! We live in a district that supports all people, not just the people of a certain city that needs a lot of help to bring a thriving economy back! It hasn’t happened in the past 10 years, it hasn’t happened in the past 21 years that I’ve lived here. Growing up in Charleston and Greenville, SC…. All the smallest surrounding towns are revitalize. Sorry, but downtown Chester looks a lot nicer than Lancaster. Pageland is coming alive. I vote to give someone else a chance to unleash the power of small business!

So, I annouced a few weeks ago that I was returning back to the custom pool business! I was planning on starting over by myself just like in 2001 with Falling Water Custom Pools and the same in 2012 for the brewery. I had no idea that the most amazing opportunity would find me head on with a partnership that made more sense than anything I have ever had the opportunity to do! Yesterday, I was rewarded a design contract to start our first project in a very familiar neighborhood, Ballantyne Country Club……It’s on!

Honestly, from 2001 through 2014, I cannot recall one Pool that was exactly the same. Everything was customized for the yard based on grade, yard setbacks, drainage, and customers expectations! Never force anything, work with land!

This project was built in Denver, North Carolina. The yard had over 15 feet of elevation drop, so I created my first 3-tier swimming. Take a good look!
