Today commemorates the first home delivery of milk in bottles. New York dairy farms produce milk day after day to ensure there is a wholesome, nutritious product on the grocery store shelf each time we visit.

Happy New Year! We have some new followers here so to start the year off right we wanted to introduce our family! Reyncrest is a third generation family farm in Corfu, NY. John and Shelley Reynolds are the owners along with their three children Tyler, Mackenzie, and Andy. Every family member is involved in the daily operations on the farm. We are proud to have 20 dedicated employees as well. Tyler and Andy’s wives, Kelly and Whitney help out on the farm as well. You can often find Kelly and Tyler’s girls, Cannyn and Saylor on our page too!
The milk our cow’s produce heads to Upstate Farms to be processed into fluid milk, yogurt, cheese, sour cream and more! We are proud western NY dairy farmers, caring for our cows and our land is at the core of what we do every day. Thanks for following along for a look inside our dairy farm!

To close out National Dairy Month, the last farm we are featuring is Richmond Farms. Founded by Nathaniel Richmond in 1837 in North Collins, NY, this is a 7th generation family-owned dairy farm. As its operations continue to grow, their core family values are proudly passed down to the next generation. The face of farming is advocating during June Dairy Month.
Generational family farms are opening their doors to share their story. In case you missed it, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Basil Seggos visited Sheland Farms in NNY last week to discuss environmental stewardship practices and agriculture's critical role in achieving state and national climate goals.
For National Dairy Month, the next member-owner farm we are featuring is George Haier Dairy. Located in Eden, NY, George Haier Dairy was the first farm in Erie County to install a robotic milking system. This system helps milk cows with minimal human interaction and uses automatic sanitization. By combining agriculture and technology, George Haier Dairy is innovating towards the future!
Continuing our celebration of National Dairy Month, we are showcasing Silver Meadows Farm. Since 1953, Silver Meadows has been in operation in Silver Springs, NY. In 2020, working with Genesee Valley Conservancy, the Klein family completed a conservation project to permanently protect 562 acres of their farmland. The next farm we are featuring in celebration of National Dairy Month is Harkins Dairy Farm. Based in Wyoming, NY, Harkins is one of our many dedicated member-owner farms producing Upstate Farms Milk. Supplied locally, our milk delivers a powerful combination of natural nutrients that aid muscle repair, rehydration and replenishment, while also helping to build strong bones and support immune health. It is the hardworking farmers, like those at Harkins Dairy Farm, who ensure our fresh and delicious milk is widely available for our customers!
In celebration of National Dairy Month and World Milk Day, we wanted to showcase several our member-owner farms throughout June. The first farm we are featuring is Wilean Farms. Since 1959, the Jones family has been proudly running their family farm in East Otto, NY. As of 2021, they have achieved the 20-year consecutive quality award for holding high standards as a milk producer. We are proud to have such hardworking and dedicated member-owners!
