10 year old Pitzer bred gelding by Two ID Shooter Buck. He’s 16h tall, 1350 lb. and strong at the horn. He’s sound- no blemishes, good bone and good hooves. No kick, no bite, no cribbing. He’s simply too tall for my 76 year old dad to get on even with the mounting block. He struggles and “Pistol” stands there, but it’s hard on my dad. He’s been to some USTRC ropings with my daughter on board, been used to gather cattle in the pasture and been trail ridden. He’s a head horse due to his size, but he has a nice stop on him if you want to heel from 2 stories up. He’s good for the farrier, gentle on the ground to handle and tack up. When he’s fresh, he can be a little looky, but if he’s ridden regularly, he’s good. He has more speed than shown in these videos, but this is what we were able to make with the weather not cooperating at all. He has sat since last fall, we pulled him out and my daughter roped off him to make the newer videos and there are a couple from fall of 2024. His pedigree is amazing! His sire has over 1000 AQHA points. He’s a really nice horse and someone is stealing him at this price - 17🥕🥕🥕. He’d likely bring twice that at the Pitzer sale if properly fitted and with a great roper on board. Please pm me or call 913-370-5425

Sold***Meet Tuesday- she’s 15 years old. She’s been used on a cattle
operation in western Kansas. She tried to make a career change to barrel racing, but it wasn’t her thing. She’s far happier being a trail horse or loading cattle or checking cattle in the pasture. She’s a 15 year old grade mare and her owner is going to be going off to college soon, so she’s looking for a new address. She has no blemishes on her legs and is sound. She does seem to do best with front shoes on and she isn’t a huge fan of spurs. She’s sensitive enough you don’t really need them. Please watch the video- she’d not seen ANY of these types of obstacles she did outdoors prior to making this video. We were pleasantly surprised at how willing she was to do them. She’s been off work for a couple months and this is how she rode with my daughter getting on her for the first time to help me get videos of her. She’s about 14.3 h- I haven’t actually measured her but she’s a nice size. Loads and backs out of a trailer with ease. She can be in a stall or on pasture, no maintenance that I’m aware of, easy to tack up, easy to clean her hooves, good ground manners and stands still while you get on. We went to the barrel race at North Topeka Arena yesterday to watch and support Lauren and seemed appropriate to take Robbi and see what she was going to do on her first trip to town. Mostly, she was a doll. If I tried to stop and talk to people, she was antsy, but I’m not worried about that. We did have some moments of wanting to go back to the trailer when we were in the arena and we had one baby fit where she thought she was going to start bucking and a verbal scolding and keeping her head up put things right again. We made a few 90° turns away from the gate when she’d start to drop her shoulder that direction and then things went pretty well. She wasn’t spooky and that can be a scary arena with the bucking chutes and all. We backed out of the arena at the end, all the way back to the trailer because I wanted her to know it’s a lot of work to go back to the trailer and hopefully get that idea out of her head.
