Livengood Family Farm We are a three generation family business consisting of Earl and Joyce and son Dwain and Audrey and their family.

Located at the intersection of Lancaster’s beautiful farming country and the recent suburb expansion, our vegetable farm has been the sole enterprise of our family for 30 years. Building sustainable enterprises that encourage creativity is our passion. Building blocks include grass, vegetables, grass-eating animals and birds and hungry persons who appreciate wholesome food. e offerings are Beyond Organic. We were certified organic for over 15 years beginning in the early ’90s helping to develop the Certified Organic label in Pennsylvania as charter members of Pennsylvania Certified Organic. Since then our focus on “Green Everyday” animal management has taken us above and beyond organic certification standards. Since most of our customers are private individuals who know us and our farming practices well, a third party inspection process seemed unnecessary. We welcome your visit for personal verification of our Beyond Organic practices! Livengood vegetables and meats are offered at five farmers markets as well as direct from the farm. Our herds and flocks help retired farmers and landowners keep their beautiful landscape in farming. If you live nearby, we expect you to stop by to meet our family and see how living on the edge of farmland loss is possible with your help. We’ve also experienced raising meat birds on grass and have found the results delightful! We will be doing more broilers and holiday turkeys this season.

UPDATE: What shall we name this steer who has gone golfing, invited himself to a wedding, and forded the Conestoga River multiple times?

One more steer has been found! Two more to go! A shout out to Crossgates Golf Club, The Farm at Eagles Ridge, neighbors, and our SWAT (Swift Willing Angus Team) crew who assisted our efforts.

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who helped! The support of the community is amazing! A special shout out to the drone team of the West Willow Fire Company! We've located and secured most of the cattle. However, there are still 3 out and roaming. They tend to actively graze late afternoon and evening, so be on the lookout. Call 717-327-6817 if you spot one!

We're looking for roaming black Angus cattle in the general area of Long Lane, west of Cherry Hill Orchards. Cattle should not be approached or chased, though they are used to being handled. Please call 717-327-6817 if you spot any. Thanks!

It's turkey time again! You might have noticed their presence along Morningside Drive.

These pasture-­raised birds live outdoors and are regularly rotated to fresh grass. They are free of antibiotics and supplemented with a locally produced, non-­GMO mix. No corn or soy is included in supplemental feed.

Turkeys are curious and gather to investigate, inquisitively pecking at humans who enter their space.

Livengood Family Farm will be at Clark Park tomorrow (2/4) with our normal offerings as well as pre-orders!

You might have seen an announcement on social media that Clark Park Farmers' Market will be closed tomorrow. While the Food Trust organizers won't be present and EBT will not be available, a number of vendors do plan to attend. See you there!

Dress warmly, and we'll enjoy the short arctic blast together!
