🐝 Sometimes a conversation reminds you just how thankful you are to call a place home.

Recently, I had the pleasure of sharing with a wonderful customer how much I love the area where we live.

Growing up outside Orlando, FL, I had so much to be thankful for. But it wasn’t until I moved to Pennsylvania in 2001 that I discovered just how splendid four seasons can be and how beautiful and peaceful life in the country feels.

Joe grew up on a farm outside DuBois, surrounded by pastures and long country roads. He always wanted to live in Perry County because it reminded him so much of where he grew up.

Now I understand why.

We’ve met so many wonderful people, have amazing neighbors, and through Perry County Bee Company, we’ve made even more connections with customers, local businesses, and people who have welcomed and supported us along the way.

Joe may spend his time tending the bees, but this community has helped us grow!

We’re so grateful to call Perry County home, for us and our bees!

🐝🎁 A little sweetness for everyone on your gift list!

As the holiday season gets closer, we’re dreaming up gift packages for our farm store and retail locations and we’d love your input! 🍯

Would you like to see a Honey Flight Gift Box?

We’re thinking of filling each box with little 1.25 oz sample jars of our infused honey. A fun way to discover new favorites or give someone a sweet tasting experience!

Which would YOU prefer?
🍯 The full flight: A sample of every infused honey flavor.
🎁 Mix & match: Choose the flavors your gift recipient would love most.

We could also add custom flights to our online store so you can choose your flavors and order ahead for in-store pickup!

👇 Full flight, mix & match, or both?

You voted, and we’re excited to add Elderberry Infused Honey to our holiday lineup alongside Cinnamon, Peppermint, and Holiday Spice! 🍯

Even sweeter? We make it with our own organically grown elderberries, right from our garden! 🌿

🎥 This quick reel takes you back to June, when our elderberry flowers were just beginning to bloom and our bees were busy visiting the bushes. From those first blossoms to your honey jar, we love sharing a little piece of our farm with you! 🐝

What makes elderberries special? They naturally contain anthocyanins, plant compounds with antioxidant properties that give the berries their beautiful deep-purple color.

Add a spoonful of our Elderberry Honey to warm tea, drizzle it over yogurt or oatmeal, or spread it on toast for a delicious way to enjoy this berry-and-honey pairing. ☕🍯

Who’s excited for a spoonful?

We will post as soon as each infused honey is ready - next up is Cinnamon Infused - It should be in the store in about a week. :)

🍎🍁 It's apple season, and we’ve been baking! 🍪🍯

I just dropped off some delicious, freshly baked fall-inspired cookies at People's Provisions, and they're filled with the flavors of the season!

What makes these cookies even more special? We're using delicious, locally grown apples from Three Springs Fruit Farm and flour from Bridgeport Flour Mills. We love being able to incorporate ingredients from other local farms and businesses into our baked goods!

🍁🍎 And speaking of apples… don't miss Apple-Palooza!
Head over to People's Provisions this Saturday from 9 AM–12 NOON for their Apple-Palooza Fall Open House!
