This Saturday, August 6th, co-owner and head creator of The Hop Ice Cream and Pop Bubble Tea, Ashley Garrison, will be one of the featured chefs in the Chow Chow Asheville Culinary Event Series event called, Nourishing Community. She has created 3 delicious and unique flavors for the occasion:
1) Vegan Lemon(balm) Cheesecake Cashew-Rice Milk with a Peach Preserve swirl - made with Burton Street Peace Garden lemon balm, Darë Vegan Cheese cashew cream cheese, peaches and rice from Lee’s One Fortune Farm.
Honey Lavender Thyme - made with Haw Creek Honey, Elf Leaf Farm lavender, Burton Street Peace Garden thyme).
Blueberry Buttermilk Okra - made with Perry's Berry's Vineyard & Winery blueberries, Burton Street Peace Garden okra.
The three flavors will be tied together by a from-scratch lemon lavender sable and drizzle of local blueberry coulis.
