After more than 50 incredible years, Bruce and Gliceria are officially handing over the keys and turning the page to a new chapter.

​For over half a century, it has been our absolute honor to serve the Lanesborough community, our neighbors across Berkshire County, and every single visitor stopping by Pontoosuc Lake. Whether you were dropping in for your usual, stocking up for a weekend on the water, or just stopping by to say hello, thank you for making the store feel like home for five decades.

​Today marks our final day as owners as we hand the shop off to new ownership. While we will miss seeing your faces behind the counter, we leave with hearts full of gratitude for the friendships and memories made along the way. You made this store so much more than a business—you made it a family.

Hello Friends,

For those who do not know, Bruce had a stroke in August. We are happy to announce that Bruce is out of rehab and is home continuing his recovery.

Starting November 2nd, we will be taking a short hiatus while he continues his recovery.

Please come visit us through this weekend. We will have a card that you can sign and leave your well wishes. While you are in you can pick up your favorite b**r, w**e or spirit, all 20% off.

A fresh line of Bright Ideas canned yesterday at noon is on the shelves! As well as some excellent selections from Tilted Barn and Pivitol.

Back in 2015 when the Bright Ideas taproom was getting its footing on the campus of Mass MoCA, we were the first and only package store where you could buy their b**r outside of the brewery!

Many thanks for this hook up BI! The outpouring of support has been remarkable! Thank you all for stopping by to give Bruce your best!
