Today was a very sad day for our farm. For those of you that know will understand what this post is about .
Farm Dog .
16.5 years ago I bought a little Jack Russell from a friend that bred them . She was the Shining example of the typical JR terrier farm hand .
She was a mouse hunting , chicken chasing , ground hog corralling, mole/Vole digging fool . She and my black lab Parker were Mutt and Jeff! Hours of being in the woods hunting with Parker
She was the funniest most exasperating dog we have ever had . Hard headed , stubborn in every single thing you wanted her to do.
But with all of this . I absolutely loved this dog she was the best, silliest and the most loyal of dogs .
She told us Friday she was getting tired she had a bacterial infection that she couldn’t over come .
She stopped eating . And we knew it was time and this morning we said our goodbyes and now she and Parker are causing trouble for sure . Lexie Lynne you will always be missed .
