Someone ordered a hot roast beef tray for 5 o’clock and never showed. We tried calling. First person to comment “dibs” can come get it for just $40. It’s 5lbs of roast beef in gravy and 11 rolls cause I ate one. We’re only open til 7 so be close and hungry.

Good morning! Now hiring. Honeycrisp. Last weekend for sunflower seeds.

We are now hiring for our fall season. You can stop in anytime to fill out an application. Or come by Sunday the 30th from 2 to 6 for open interviews. Most positions are seasonal and will run til the end of October or the end of the year.

What we’re looking for:
Weekday and weekend donut makers. You’ll make donuts with a donut machine. We can train the right person.

Bakery assistants. You’ll be assisting the bakers making pies, cookies, etc.

Deli. Mostly weekend hours. Some part time weekday available. Take orders, make hoagies, grill, fryer.

Cashier/stocking for farm and store. Just September and October weekends.

Feel free to message us here with any questions you have. If you’re looking for deli, donut, and bakery positions and would like to set up an interview we can do that as well.

Honeycrisp are in the store now! These are from PA. Little further west that didn’t get hit with the freeze as hard as we did. We’ll have plenty of them in the coming weeks and a variety of apples soon from further north. Reminder we lost all our honeycrisp in the freeze. Them and the Staymans were hit the hardest. Earliest we’ll be picking is Cortlands possibly Labor Day weekend. To be honest with you I’m hoping to hold them til the 12th. The later we can hold them the better. If we can get even one weekend of apples in October I’d be happy.

Sunflower seeds! This is the last weekend to get some. After Sunday I’m mowing the field down. They’re 3 for $1. They pluck off with a good pull or bring something to cut them with.

There’s a variety of produce available in the store. Corn, tomatoes, ginger gold apples, cantaloupe, eggplant, peppers.

Good thing I bought a new saw this year 🤣. If you live near the farm and heard the loudest lightning strike yesterday I think this is what it hit. Shook the store like an earthquake. There’s debris 60’ in all directions. Pretty cool. Time to clean it up before some deer find this opening.

Good afternoon! Ice cream today is just 79 cents per scoop! Sunflower seeds are ready to pick. Roast em or feed them to the birds. They’re 3 for $1. You can bring something to cut them or just kinda pluck them off by pulling on them. I just cut the outside rows so the good ones are easier to get too.

Still plenty of Ginger Gold apple’s available in the store and we just brought in some of the last of our white and yellow peaches.

A beautiful Honeycrisp! Tasted great too. Unfortunately there’s about two per tree. Hopefully I can find someone in PA or NY who didn’t lose there’s so we can have some this year. You can see the one in the background has russet from the frost.
