Dreams For Kids DC held its first (socially distanced) in-person clinic of 2021 on May 1st-adaptive and ! Thanks to our sponsors Capitol Seniors Housing, Delta Produce, and 305 Fitness for making this possible. We started with a soothing yoga session (taught by our programs manager Moya) and ended with an energetic dance session (led by Owoade and Carrie of 305 Fitness).

5/1 - DFKDC Outdoor Yoga & Dance In-Person Clinic
Join us for an IN-PERSON outdoor Yoga and Dance Clinic! Dreams For Kids DC will be partnering with the People of Seniors Housing & Delta Produce to create a 2- hour Yoga and Dance event that will be socially distanced. This will be a fun event to move and groove our bodies, while also adhering to social distancing and CDC-compliant guidelines. Although this event will look and run differently from the previous Dream For Kids DC events, we are excited to make the event enjoyable and safe for everyone.
What: 2-hour Yoga and Dance event hosted outdoors and compliant to CDC social distancing guidelines. The event will start with a 45-minute Adaptive Yoga class and the second session will be a 45-minute follow-along Dance class. Participants are encouraged to join in both activities, however, please take rest breaks whenever necessary.
When: This event will be held on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 from 11:00 - 1:00 pm EST only. (Parents: Please arrive no later than 11:15 AM or you will be asked to leave.)
Who: Participants with physical and developmental disabilities of all ages welcome and we also invite their family members to attend as well! We also invite DFKDC volunteers and friends to join us online to make this a truly inclusive session.
