🥩 Spicy Pepper Sauce Butter Steak
Ingredients (Serves 2)
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Spicy Pepper Butter:
4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1 ½ tbsp UMO Gourmet Pepper Sauce
1 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
Pinch of sea salt
Method
Make the Butter
In a small bowl, mix softened butter with UMO Gourmet Pepper Sauce, parsley, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.
Spoon onto parchment paper, roll into a log, and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to firm.
Prepare the Steaks
Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat a heavy skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil.
Cook the Steaks
Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), or until they reach your preferred doneness.
Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
Finish with Flavor
Slice a round of the chilled Spicy Pepper Butter and place it on each hot steak.
As it melts, the butter creates a rich, fiery glaze that coats every bite.
