Winter Farmers' Market Schedule! 🍎❄️

The Meridian Township Farmers' Market schedule is changing for the winter season.

The market will be held indoors at the Meridian Mall (1982 W Grand River Avenue, Okemos) from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of each month until the end of April.

What inspired me to create Northern Made: A Sauce Company?

My grandfather Mendoza. When asked by a professor at LCC inside of Old Central, "If you had a company that sold something, what would you sell?". After thinking about it, what was something that my grandfather would be proud of and use> And I thought: Hot sauce. So years later when I started my first garden in 2020 I tried to create a salsa garden like my grandfather, but my tomatoes didn't do well. So I was like what am I going to do with all of these peppers? Then I saw that show on YouTube "Hot Ones" and remembered oh yeah I can make hot sauce. So I spent the next 7-8 months developing something I myself could enjoy and not just something that was hot. And I gave birth to my Sweet Jalapeno sauce.
